This coffee comes from Montaña Alta in the Guerrero region of Mexico. Most coffee from this region is sold to a large private company that imposes its prices on producers. However, Cafe Muda through their partnership with Ensambles Cafés, have been able to source this directly from the producer.

The Guerrero region is characterised by its natural process of whole cherry drying, which is an exception in Mexico, where 90% of coffee production is produced in the washed process.

Traditionally, coffee grows under natural shade from primary forest which results in a more even ripening of the cherries.

Cafés Muda

In Portuguese, "MUDA" means young coffee shoot. The word also refers to the verb "Mudar" which means to change.

With Cafés MUDA, we want to contribute at our level to the change underway in the world of coffee by offering seasonal coffees to ensure aromatic freshness at the time of tasting.
