The ripe red bourbon cherries are hand-picked on the volcanic slopes of Gakenke, Rwanda, guaranteeing unique and authentic notes, typical of this terroir.

For the past 4 years, Cafes Muda have been purchasing coffee from the Abakundakawa cooperative, recognized for its commitment to the empowerment of women and youth, both culturally and in terms of coffee production.

This coffee has undergone a natural anaerobic process, giving it a lively and fruity side. Coffee cherries are fermented without oxygen for between 2 and 3 days, depending on the climate. This method allows for the development of complex and unique aromas while controlling temperature and humidity. Cafes Muda are very lucky to be exclusively selling this coffee.
