Fuyan's farm and washing station are managed by Ms Na and Mr Li. Born in Yunnan, Mr Li moved to the Menglian area with his parents as a teenager. During his youth, Mr Li worked on rubber plantations before turning to the tea industry.

Today Mr Li and Ms Na manage their own farm, spanning more than 32 hectares, located at an altitude of 1,600 - 1,700 masl. Among the coffee trees, there are intermittent shade trees, including macadamias, fruit trees, and legumes. Apart from coffee, Fuyan also produces about 7 tons of premium tea. 

Fuyan's coffees consistently earn some of the highest marks in Yunnan, a testament to the hard work, consistent quality control, and close relationships that Mr Li and Ms Na have with the pickers, mostly from the Lahu, an ethnic group indigenous to China and the surrounding area.
