From the highlands of Kirinyaga County, Kamwangi Peak brings together the character of Kenyan coffee and the careful work of smallholder farmers. Grown at 1,600–2,000 masl in the Ngariama region, this washed coffee is produced by farmers working with the Kamwangi Washing Station, part of the Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS).

Set on the fertile volcanic slopes surrounding Mount Kenya, the region’s high elevations and distinctive growing conditions contribute to the complexity and vibrant fruit character associated with Kenyan coffees. Farmers deliver ripe cherries to Kamwangi, where the washed process removes the fruit before fermentation, washing and careful drying. This approach allows the coffee’s inherent character to shine through in a clean, well-defined cup.

A blend of Batian, Ruiru 11 and SL28 varieties, Kamwangi Peak offers a balanced profile of red cherry, vanilla and plum. Expect bright fruit notes supported by gentle sweetness and a rounded finish.

A characterful Kenyan coffee that reflects the growing conditions of Kirinyaga and the collective work of its farming community.
