Rigoberto Mayta Ricse cultivates coffee in Mazamari, Satipo Province, in Peru's Junín region, where the eastern slopes of the Andes provide ideal conditions for exceptional coffee production. Grown at 1,750 masl, this Geisha thrives in fertile mountain soils, abundant rainfall and cool nights that encourage slow cherry maturation and remarkable flavour development.

Only perfectly ripe cherries are selected before undergoing 14 days of natural anaerobic fermentation, allowing the fruit and carefully controlled microbial activity to develop exceptional aromatic complexity while preserving the elegance and clarity for which the Geisha variety is celebrated. The coffee is then slowly dried to stabilise its vibrant character and expressive profile.

In the cup, this is a strikingly aromatic and fruit-forward coffee. Juicy cherries are layered with vibrant pineapple and ripe mango, while delicate floral notes bring elegance and lift. A lingering finish of cacao nibs adds depth and balance, creating a beautifully structured coffee that showcases both the exceptional terroir of Satipo and the precision of its processing.
