Banko Gotiti - Ethiopia

Banko Gotiti, produced in the famous Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, is a specialty coffee that embodies the excellence of the Ethiopian terroir. Yirgacheffe is a prestigious appellation, recognised for its superior quality despite its low production volumes. This coffee comes from the Banko Gotiti processing station, managed by EDN Ethiopian Coffee, and is grown by 350 family farms that surround the station, each operating small areas of 1 to a few hectares.

The Banko Gotiti station has an ideal geographical location, in an area where the red and brown soils, both clay and silt, are very rich in nutrients. Combined with the high altitude of the area, these elements contribute significantly to the unique aromatic profile of this coffee.
