La Prosperidad, Espresso - Peru

Prosperidad de Chirinos was founded in 1968 and now has 817 members, a quarter of whom are women, cultivating 2,200 hectares in the high altitude region of San Ignacio, Cajamarca. The cooperative provides agronomic and financing support as well as teaching farmers sensory evaluation and diversification of income through other agricultural projects. 

There are both women's and youth programs aimed at supporting and empowering these producers. 

La Prosperidad is one of these extremely balanced and easy drinking coffees that perfectly combines both bold and creamy flavours of dark chocolate, honey and brown sugar, with sweeter notes of plum and citrus fruit.
