The Mont Blanc Recipe - Serves 1
You’ll need
- 60ml chilled espresso or cold brew
- ¾ cup ice
- 30ml thickened cream
- 25ml fresh orange juice
- 5ml vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Fresh orange zest
- A pinch of ground nutmeg
Method
- Froth the cream, orange juice, vanilla and sugar until light, silky and pourable.
- Fill a glass with ice and add the chilled espresso or cold brew.
- Slowly pour the orange cream over the back of a spoon to create a soft layer.
- Finish with freshly grated orange zest and a light dusting of nutmeg.
- Don’t stir—sip through the cream and coffee together.
