Santa Elisa Farm is nestled at the foot of the Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes in Guatemala. Known for its expertise, Finca Santa Elisa cultivates and experiments with various coffee varieties.

Volcanes Coffee has processed this batch at their Antigua resort, Beneficio La Esperanza. The cherries are treated with special care, as they are often covered in volcanic ash. Despite this demanding environment, coffee farmers manage to produce a coffee of remarkable purity, with clean and bright aromas.

After picking, the cherries are sorted, pulped and then fermented for 12-48 hours before being carefully washed to remove the last mucilage. Drying is done either on African beds or using mechanical dryers to ensure perfectly controlled humidity. The end result is a coffee that is both sweet and full-bodied, offering a beautiful aromatic complexity. In the cup, it reveals notes of red fruits, brown sugar and chocolate, for a gourmet and perfectly balanced cup.
