Marysabel and her husband Moises started their coffee growing business in 1996 (Finca El Puente was purchased in 1992). Marysabel comes from a family of coffee farmers that dates back to 1907. It wasn't until 1996, after her marriage to Moises, that they decided to focus and work hard to develop the quality of coffee and eventually become leaders in coffee culture in their country.

While their goal is to achieve the highest quality, they believe that social and environmental sustainability is an inseparable part of coffee production and is reflected at all levels of coffee production.

Curious by nature, Marysabel and Moises began experimenting with varieties and processing methods, from the natural to the anaerobic process.

The beds for drying coffee are located in the area where shade and sun can be controlled for optimal temperature management.  The coffee is stored in the pro bean after reaching the desired moisture level of 10-11%.
