El Porvenir - Colombia

Originally from Ethiopia, Wush Wush is one of the rarest and most sought-after varieties in specialty coffee, prized for its floral complexity, subtle sweetness, and silky texture.

In the high-altitude mountains of Cauca, Colombia, the wush wush variety thrives in volcanic soils and cool Andean breezes, developing a distinctive and refined expression. This lot is washed. Once the fruit is depulped it undergoes controlled tank fermentation and a gentle wash to remove remaining mucilage before drying. The result is a clean, aromatic cup that highlights the variety’s natural elegance, shaped by meticulous post-harvest work and a strong commitment to quality at origin.
