Nestled in the Ahuachapán mountain range of western El Salvador, Finca Los Angeles is planted exclusively with Pacamara, one of the country's most celebrated coffee varieties, renowned for its remarkable aromatic complexity and expressive cup profile.

The farm forms part of the Fincas Los Naranjos group, led by Sigfredo Corado, a retired professor of agronomy whose scientific background has shaped a thoughtful and sustainable approach to coffee production. Every aspect of the farm is carefully managed, from maintaining native shade trees and enriching soils with organic matter to eliminating herbicides entirely. The result is a healthy, balanced ecosystem that supports both exceptional coffee quality and long-term environmental stewardship.

Finca Los Angeles also participates in the Renacer Programme ("Reborn"), an initiative that equips local producers with practical agronomic knowledge through annual training centred on the principles of the 4Rs—Right Source, Right Dose, Right Place and Right Time. Together, these practices help ensure the farm remains both productive and environmentally resilient.

Developed in El Salvador during the late 1950s by the Salvadoran Institute for Coffee Research (ISIC), Pacamara is a cross between Pacas and Maragogype, a variety famous for its unusually large cherries and beans. The result is a cultivar that combines the compact growth habit and productivity of Pacas with the striking bean size and extraordinary cup potential of Maragogype. Pacamara has become one of specialty coffee's most sought-after varieties, celebrated for producing coffees with exceptional sweetness, layered fruit complexity and distinctive floral aromatics.
