This coffee is produced in two coffee farmers' cooperatives with more than 240 families from the NASA WE'SX community in Planadas and Gaitania. 

The beans were decaffeinated using the natural sugar cane process. This process uses ethyl acetate, a natural solvent derived from sugar cane, to extract caffeine from coffee beans. These are first steamed and then washed with ethyl acetate, preserving their aromas.
