Grown by Pepe Jijón at Finca Soledad in Ecuador's breathtaking Intag Valley, this Typica Mejorado is a coffee deeply connected to its environment. The farm spans just four hectares of coffee trees, surrounded by more than 120 hectares of protected cloud forest at elevations of 1,500–1,750 metres above sea level. A former mountaineer, Pepe manages the farm with a strong commitment to biodiversity and regeneration, planting native trees, employing biodynamic farming practices and creating meaningful employment opportunities within the local community.

This lot undergoes Finca Soledad's meticulous Wave Washed process, a technique that combines carefully controlled fermentation with multiple gentle "waves" of pure water washing before slow drying in a darkroom. The patient and precise approach highlights the coffee's natural clarity, sweetness and complexity.

The result is an elegant and expressive cup, revealing notes of crisp green apple, juicy purple grape and delicate honey sweetness. Vibrant yet beautifully balanced, it showcases both the remarkable character of Typica Mejorado and the unique terroir of Ecuador's cloud forest.

Parcel

Parcel was born from a meeting between Mikaël and Damien in 2016, colleagues turned friends, united by a shared love of coffee.

What began as a passion has grown into a craft, shaped by years of experience and a commitment to doing things right.

At the heart of Parcel is a simple goal: to honour the producers behind every cup. The people, places and processes that make each coffee truly exceptional.
